Ring fort dated to the Hallstatt period (500-400 BC).
Description of the structure
Location of the heritage site. It is located southwest of the village, among wet meadows in the Ołobok valley, 200 metres from the road from Bieganin to Głogowa. Locally, the place functions as Marwik or Mortwik.
History of the site. Known at least since the end of the 19th century as a hillfort of undetermined type. Entered in the register of historic monuments in 1985.
Progress and findings of archaeological research. Surveys by J. Splitt in 1986, and surface research under the AZP (Archaeological Picture of Poland) project in 1993. It is listed in the literature as a presumed hillfort of undetermined type.
Visitor access. The site is open to the public, visible from the road as a clump of trees.
