A short corridor running from the bottom of the shafts descents another 6 meters and merges with a section of the Reden Tunnel, where water was pumped by a 60-inch steam engine to the adit and further to the Stoła river. The Fredericka Shaft, named after Count Reden’s wife, has an oval shape and a stone casing.
