It is the most important, deepest and longest hydrotechnical structure in the history of the Tarnowskie Góry mining. Its main section that is 4.6 km long was put into service in 1834 and was being developed until the 1870s, reaching an impressive length of 17 km. Thanks to the water channel, the so-called ditch, the adit still drains water by gravity from the entire underground area to the Drama river.
